1979年19歲時受傷/下肢癱瘓-- Hector At the end, I finally realized that your true friends is your family. When you get in a wheelchair those you think are your friends are no longer there; the only people there are your family, that's the bottom line. They see you in the street when you're in your wheelchair, before they're like, "hey, how you doing, this and that," but now they turn around and walk away. That was the hardest part right there.
最後，我終於意識到，真正的朋友是你的家人。當你坐在輪椅上你所認為那些的朋友都不再存在;只有你的家人才會在，這就是結果。看到你在街上時，過去他們會說：「嘿！你好嗎？這個那個……」但現在看到你坐在輪椅上，他們就轉身然後走開。這是最難受的部分。
